Heartland 2050 is looking for people who want to help move the Heartland 2050 Regional Vision forward into the implementation phase.  The Metropolitan Area Planning Agency (MAPA) which coordinates the Heartland 2050 project is taking applications for membership on its Executive Committee.

We are requesting your assistance in helping to spread the word about this opportunity, and ask that you consider sharing this information with your networks and through websites, social media, or other communications.

Membership is open to anyone living in the Heartland 2050 project area boundaries. That includes: Douglas, Sarpy, Washington, Cass and Saunders Counties in Nebraska; Pottawattamie, Mills and Harrison Counties in Iowa.  The MAPA Council of Officials will select representatives based on several criteria including the willingness to attend meetings and interest in regional growth and related issues.
