The LPOA’s 14th Annual Easter Egg Hunt – Sunday, April 13, 2014. The rain date is Saturday April 19, 2014 – both at 1 p.m. The LPOA has been working hard to build community/police relations in Omaha.  Our plan is to fill 20,000 plastic eggs with over 80,000 pieces of candy.  Other prizes will include bikes, footballs, stuffed bunnies and other prizes for children.

The Omaha Police Department and the Omaha Fire Department has been a partner by sending the horse patrol, helicopter and a fire truck for display.  Both have been popular with families and children who attend the event. This event will be advertised on the radio and we expect another large crowd.

LPOA members, family and friends volunteer their time and the organization absorbs the majority of the cost associated with the event from our dues and fundraising efforts.

Generous donations have made our annual event a success in the past and we appreciate donations or products again this year.  The LPOA is again calling on your business or organizations to take part in this momentous event of the year! One Easter Egg Hunt that will surely be remembered for a lifetime.

The LPOA is a 501(c) (3) organization so your gift is tax deductible.  We are asking you to please donate new toys, money, candy or products for another successful Easter Egg Hunt for the kids.  Your business or organization can also take part by volunteering or sponsoring a business booth at the event. Contact Nick Yanez below for additional details. Checks may be made payable to the LPOA at the above address.  For Prize or Product Pick-up please notify, Patty Steffen at (402) 321-3660.
