For Stored Potential 2, thirteen banners about Transport(ation) will be added to the existing ones in May. In celebration, twenty teams of chefs and designers are creating ‘elevation stations’ to inhabit the 36th Street bridge over I-80 for the Elevate Dinner on June 3rd. The 500-person community celebration is a new type of collaboration between those who shape the spatial and food landscapes of our city and is meant to further the conversation of both banner topics: Land Use, Food, Agriculture and Transport(ation). The bridge offers a full view of the grain elevator and provides commentary on transportation infrastructure: I-80 clipped and decommissioned the elevator, made two neighborhoods from one, and produced a massive flow of goods though the city. Tickets for Elevate will go on sale in April.  For more information visit
